    ive downloaded a movie via torrents and have been given 2 .avi files.
    how do i view them and burn them to disk?
    what would be the process?

    Assuming these are legal files, and not copyright material, yu could use ConvertXtoDVD or DivxtoDVD to create a DVD ready for burning. If you have a Divx certified player, you could just burn them as data and watch them as is.

    Depends on what you want to view them on. If viewing on a dvd player, you need to author the files to DVD as mentioned above.

    If you want to view them on your PC, then you will need to install a codec. Use Gspot to determine which codec you need.
