  1. I know its not a dvd... but I don't know who else would know the answer to this...
    Where can I get the latest firmware for a:
    Matshita CD-R CW-7582
    I think Matshita and Panasonic are one in the same.. but I can find any firmware for this beast.

    Every were I was pointed was to dead links...
    What gives... Or is it just me?

    It's simpler than that. Get the EXACT model number of the drive, then do a GOOGLE search. It's that simple.

    Sorry - did not test that link before I posted. Forum.RPC1.org links are usually reliable. Not sure what is up with that drive - can't locate any info to speak of for it. Must be quite old. What is the issue with it - as I'm not sure there is any newer firmware for that thing?

    That's firmware, if it's pointing to driverguide. It's 1.10, the same ver pointed at from rpc1.org, and it has .ROM extension and all that.
