I get to the point right away. I have bought 100 Dvd-r and when I try to burn nither nero or dvd decrypter are able to get pass the inlead process. The thing is that I've already burnt houndreds of dvd-r with the burner before, so I don't see what's wrong. Could anyone tell me what's wrong and if there is a way to fix it!
Thanks.

Not enough information. Are they the same brand and type as the ones you have used successfully? When you had the burn failures with Nero, did you look at the Nero burn log? There should be information there about the failure and possibly the cause.
You can post the Nero log here, but make sure you edit out your Nero serial number.
Or go to Nero and check their error page: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/FAQs_Error_Messages.html
Another good site is Digital Digest: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45942
And welcome to our forums. -
No, they're not the same brand, atleast not what I know of.
I don't know what you meant by posting the log, but here it is -- EDITED--
Oh, and btw. I also bought 50 new CDs, but nero couldn't burn them either. :/ -
I'll delete the link to your log. I have looked through it. It has other information there, such as serial numbers you should not disclose here. I've looked through it and it's mostly CD burns and a couple of successful DVD burns. I did see two errors:
11:02:43 #23 CDR -1106 File Writer.cpp, Line 335
Power calibration error
15:56:36 #38 CDR -1106 File Writer.cpp, Line 335
Power calibration error
Power calibration errors are a hardware error in the burner, most often caused by bad/incompatible media. The other causes are dirt on the laser lens or a failing burner.
Do you mean you bought some new CD media or was it DVD media?
The problems seem to be related to the media or the burner, from what I can see. If you have tried different brands of media with the same failures, then it may be a drive problem. You could try upgrading the drives firmware and if that doesn't help, clean the laser lens.
From the burner model, it appears you are using a laptop. You might want to consider an external burner if cleaning doesn't help. -
Well, I bought both cds and dvds. None of the works on my computer, I tried to burn one of the cds on my family computer and it worked fine. Another thing, I tried burning the same image, as I tried to burn with my new dvds, with my old dvds (Which I have about 5 left. :P) and it worked fine. I conclute that it's the DVDs and CDs that are the trouble. But I wonder how the **** my burner doesn't support any of the new discs, as it can burn roughly all formats...
Are there any way to fix that or do I have to try to sell my new DVDs and CDs and buy me some new ones? and how will I know which one to buy? :S
Thanks. -
Q1: What speed are the new DVD and CDs rated at?
Q2: What type of Drive are you using to burn with?
If the media is, say, 16x DVD (or DL), your burner or software may not recognize it. If your drive is DVD 4x only, an 8x or 16x media may not be recognized... -
Well, I don't know the speed, and I'm not at home till wed. so I can't check. But when I put the CD/DVD in the drive it recogize them...

It appears to be a NEC ND-6450A. Apparently can do 8X DVD+/-R and 2.4X DL .
You can look at these two threads for information on upgrading the firmware, which may help for using different DVD media:

But I would look into a external burner and you might have less problems in the future. -
I wouldn't flash my drive really, since it will void the warranty...
I'd rather just get some new CDs and DVDs, but the thing is I have no idea what kind of brand/sort/etc. I should get... -

By the sound if it you can't burn anything... and since you mention warranty this could be a no brainer.
