You aren't making it easy, are you ?
Can you give us some detail about the mystery DVD ?
Did you author it yourself, or is it a commercial rip ?
If it is a rip, how did you rip it ? (process/tools etc)
How are you testing it ?
The likely answer will be to try and re-link everything through PGCEdit. How time consuming and complex this might be I cannot tell you.Read my blog here.

Does it work in stand alone players ?
What software player are you using to test the ripped version ?
If it is unprotected, you don't need DVD Fab Decrypter to rip, and in fact, are probably better off not using it. It isn't subtle in the way it rips, and if it get a false positive regarding structure protection, it could well cause problems when ripping. You could just copy the files to your HDD, or use DVD Decrypter.Read my blog here.

The dvd isnt copy protected.
The DVd plays on standalone dvd player but the same problem appears.
I also used dvd decrpter to rip but same problem. -
Let's see... The dvd isnt copy protected, the DVd plays on standalone dvd player but the same problem appears, and you also used dvd decrpter to rip but same problem.
Sounds like it was authored poorly to start with, professional videographer or not. -
OK. At least we know it isn't a ripping problem.
Next step - how do you fix the links. I believe that PGCEdit will be your best bet, although DVD Remake might alos be able to do it.
You will have to find the button in question, and alter the link in the background. I suspect that there are PGCEdit guides to do this or similar if you look.Read my blog here.

this guide does something else. -
Unless you are doing something very basic, it is rare that you will find a single guide that shows you step by step exactly what you want to know. You may have to take steps from two of three different guides to complete a task. Both of the links provided show you different aspects of altering existing menus and linking to different parts of the DVD structure. You have to join the dots, as no-one here can fix your DVD for you. (Actually, I'm sure a few will offer if you send them the disc a cheque)
