    I downloaded and installed Real Alternative and RealMedia Splitter, but I still can't get DirectShow to play a .rp file. WMP keeps saying I'm missing a codec.

    Media player has no trouble with the .rm (audio) file, but for some reason it can't play the video.

    Does anyone know what's wrong?

    I believe Real Alternative works best with MPC, at least in my experience.

    Yeah. I need to get DirectShow to play it so I can use Super to convert it.

    mplayer can handle rm files though without directshow. Also possible that the files aren't playing because they are RV10/RV20 which isn't supported by Gabest's real video decoder/wrapper. If so then even ffmpeg would be able to convert.
