Hey, I have this DVD of footage from my wedding that I need to rip in order to use in a compilation I am making on Vegas video to give to my wife on our 1st anniversary this weekend. I have been having more trouble than I really should as problems of this magnitude are usually cake for me, so i am just really stumped.
What I need to know is what is the easiest, free-est, way to accomplish this? I don't care if I rip to MPG or AVI or whatever as long as Vegas doesn't mess with me for trying to use it. I can not use MP3 audio.
Please help me here!![]()

Take her out for a very nice dinner, and buy her flower. Making her watch video is like buying her a Vaccum cleaner, on an anniversary.

"Thou shalt not buy thy wife a new floor jack for Christmas".
If she really, really likes video then OK, if you like it and she is just so-so with it then do something else.
Dinner and flowers is ALWAYS, repeat ALWAYS, a winner. Don't forget a card! -
Thx all for the help. Taking her a couple states over to the Oregon Coast to feast on crab, fly kites, walk on the beach and also to hump it down. The video is just an addition to the romance!
