    Is there a single application for Mac OS X that will do what DVD shrink does on a PC?

    A single app? I don't think so. Most folk use MacTheRipper
    to rip a DVD to your hard drive, then Toast7 or DVD2oneX
    or such the like to compress (as needed) and burn a copy.
