Does anyone use DVD test tone to calibrate your 7.1 speakers home theater?

The title says it all.

If you do calibrate your 7.1 speaker using a DVD test tone, which one do you use? I have an old Avia DVD "Guide to Home Theater" and wonder if it is still usable for 7.1 system.

I have a Bose test disc that came with an old set of theater speakers. I found it helpful when my equipment was being moved around to make sure i had everything setup correctly but for the last several years my theater has been set up and has not changed.
