Is it true that you cannot transfer a movie (via HBO for example) to DVD (for watching on another DVD player) after you have recorded it to the hard drive with Windows MCE?

Well you can't transfer the .dvr-ms file directly to DVD, but you can convert these files to MPEG with DVRMSToolbox.
