    Hello

I am looking for a dvd recorder but there to damn many to choose from. So if anyone can recommended any, that would be great.

I want one to replace a vhs and will be doing a bit of vhs to dvd copying, burning to +r/+rw media. Nothing fancy, just something that gets the job done decently.

  3. either get yourself along to asda,or the liteon 1001.
asda and the liteon are well below £100 and pretty good.
cant remember the asda brand name, but i know someone who has one and is very impressed with it,and i have the liteon 1001 in my bedroom hooked up to the sky box,and its great.
    even plays divx,and avis too.

I have a Panasonic E55 which is pretty good - it uses -R and RAM. I have, though these forums, discovered you can copy the discs from the RAM. You can record up to 16 hours (with a double sided disc).
