Some videos that I downloaded (XVID) have true motion, like we can clearly see the moving objects, fight scenes, etc.

So, can anyone please tell me how to make true motion on my video (Rm format --low quality) ??

It depends. Sometimes it is a feature of how the footage was filmed. Mostly it comes down to how it was encoded.

Bottom line with any digital video is that you need

    1. A high quality source
    2. A high quality encoder
    3. Enough bitrate to preserve the image

If you squeeze the crap out of your video to get a smaller clip, and use low quality settings, then you will get blockiness, blurring and other artifacts. Clarity requires bitrate.

  3. I don't know about RM in particular, but some high compression codecs like WMV3 reduce the frame rate if the motion gets too high for the requested bit rate. So high motion sequences from a 30 fps source will be converted to 15 fps on conversion to WMV3 (half the frames are thrown out, lower frame rates require less bit rate to retain detail). The frame rate will pick up again once the video has calmed down.
