I'm not sure what the air temp is, but it's a comfortable 88.3 F here in the pool.

I hate the heat. Good thing I get to stay in the air conditioned house all day.

Weather page says 95 F RH 37 (Ain't no way it's that low)
    Bank sign says 101 F
Salt ring on my shirt says it's too damn hot to be outside unless you are swimming.

We got an outdoor job starting up right now and if my boss bids on the welding I am gonna quit! What possesed me to move from nice mild Indiana to Georgia?

I think I hear the bearings screaming on the electric meter or is that the cash registar at the power company ringing up my bill?

I have been to a few historic sites like Fort Pulaski and Fort Fredrica and such. I wonder how they kept cool 200 years ago, them must have been some tuff folks!

Give me AC or give me CPR!

Well Dallas was like 104 today so it did NOT feel like texas at all.

When it gets this hot our AC can't keep up. The temp starts to creep slowly. Its set on 75 but oh so slowly 77..78...79...80....81... then the sun starts to go down and it slowly creeps down.

Makes me double glad I got that extra Window unit in my bedroom to go with the Central AC. I have to sleep during the hot part of the day and if it gets to 80 in my room I WILL wake up.

Kind of makes me miss camping in Michigan in August. Hot, dry and MOSQUITOS! If you were able to sleep at all you would wake up with one eye swollen shut or a golf ball sized lump on your lip from a sting or fifty!

The heat made it hard enought to sleep, but add to it the dive bomber sound of them bastards a buzzing and life got real miserable. And when the buzzing stopped, you knew that you were on the menu!

    Sleep tight boys!

Best place to camp in the last part of summer?

    Cloudcroft New mexico.

In the Winter its the southmost place you can ski and in the summer it has pleasent days and nice cool nights.

Damn I wish I was there right now, Its midnight and I'm sweating after taking a smoke break.

Of course I had to come back to this heat in Dallas after two wonderful weeks by Lake Superior in the UP of Michigan and one week in Seattle. I haven't seen temps above 70 for three weeks and come back to 100+ heat here. But at least it isn't as humid as it could be and my AC seems to be able to keep up, but just barely. It was running almost non-stop all evening which to me sounded similar to money burning away in a campfire...

  18. Depending on which weatherperson you listen to, it will be somewhere between 102 and 106F today in Dallas, TX.

    I dislike summer very much.

Ok, looks like only one continent has talked, North America. I don't know where "making the rounds" is, though, hehe. Would like to hear from other places. Come on Aussies, Europe, South America...

I'd lean toward the 106 based on how hot the rest of the house was when I woke up this evening.

I can't remember such temperature. Never over 44-46 degrees, and don't want to remember it, either.
I was probably in the beach, somewhere in the Mediterranean, when this happened to you

Last year I visited a little store in Dath Valley California. Was it hot. 121F. Worst part is trying to drive through the valley. The heat gauage for the engine hit the red zone and slowly climbed as the car started it's climb up the valley. Had to kill the AC and open the windows. After a few minutes I can still see the temp gauage still slowly climbing. Had to turn the heat on to cool the engine. That is a scary place if your not prepared! -garman

In Central Queensland, Australia it has been a pleasant 20-24 Degrees Celsius- don't know what that is in farenheit. In Summer it can get up to 34 Degrees, but the worst part of it is the humidity- feels like you have walked into a brick wall once you leave the airconditioning.

Ok, 44ºC today, 111 F. They say it's a wav of heat. I feel like it's lasting far too much. There is not humidity actually. It's just like opening the oven, when you leave the conditioning air of your house.
Must leave for the beach asap.

Editing: By the way, my dual core is doing fine. Mob 122 F and processor 140 F. Not that bad...

It's been 30+C for most of the UK for the past week, but the hottest I've been is standing outside the Mall Of America a few years back in August - the hire car said it was 41C. My iced frappuccino had turned into a late by the time it took to walk to the car!
    Regards,
