I have searched the forms for DVD inkjet printers and mostly what I found was fairly old info. I was just wondering if there were any other options besides buying an epson r340 or to mod a canon prima? This isn't anything professional mainly for home movies and that type of thing. While a sharpie has worked fine in the past, I was wanting to upgrade just slightly. Thanks
PS I noticed Epson has the printer direct from their site for 130 no tax no shipping.
But it also looks like I'll pay that in cartridges. So as an addendum if anyone has a good site to buy cheep replacements that would be helpful as well.

You can still get the R220 for a little less. I have modded my Canon Pixma 3000 and am very happy. I had trouble with several previous Epsons with clogged print heads.

Thanks for the reply
Do you know if there are any other options besides canon and epsons that print on cd/dvds? -
Epson direct has the R220 refurbished with full warranty for 77.00 to enclude shipping if I remember correctly and with it you get a full set of ink cartridges which will retail for that much, might as well go this route and basically get a free printer with your ink.
