adding other items to burned cd's or dvd's???

Does anyone know if you can add other items, such as a Word Document, .bmp, etc., to vcd, svcd, or dvd layout and burn all on one cd or dvd? I have been using Nero, and when in the Video CD or S Video CD wizard, it will not allow me to do this. Only the mpeg files work. Am I doing something wrong, or is this not possible? How about in EZCD 5, Movie Factory, or other authoring tools? I want this option for my customers that want to play the vcd, svd's or dvd's on their pc's. It would be nice to add some release notes and other extras.

yes it is possible to add any files, in nero: just drag and drop them to the window at the left top that lists the vcd/svcd folders...you can put them in the root folder or create a new folder for it. do not add them to the track list.
