Probably S/PDIF = Sony Phillips Digital Interface. Sometimes referred to as coaxial. You probably have to enable it in your audio settings to get an output. It's mainly for Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Some surround sound amplifiers have this input or a fiber optic interface for digital audio. Usually it has an orange color code, though. I have one on my computer on a separate PCI slot bracket. But I use a optical cable to my amplifier.
