    I have recently purchased some dvd's to sell on my site. Sadly the company that made them has since gone out of business. What I want to do is make some "preview" clips from a rented version of the same dvd. Would dvd shrink do the trick?

    what video format do you want the clips in?

    you can use dvdshrink in the reauthor mode to rip out vob samples, https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=498#498
