Wireless Router No Showing Up On xbox360 If Secured

here's what I have belkin wireless g+ (f5d7231-4) and the 360 wireless adapter
now if I don't secure the router everything works cherry but as soon as I secure it
the 360 doesn't see the router at all any more. it just stops at not connected when
testing the connection and there is no ssid at all. What am I doing wrong?

go to System -> Network Settings -> Edit Settings, and enter the WEP key. You can obtain the WEP key from your router.
