Hi
Firstly I hope this is in the correct forum.
A friend has compiled a dvd of many clips of blues artistes originally culled from many tv progs. The compilation is not commercially available as it's "his own work" although I guess that there might be some probs with individual clips! This was all done on a stand-alone dvd recorder with a crude front end menu just split on the date a group of clips was added.
I've got the a copy of the dvd on my hard drive (and i can't re-rip from the origianls as my friend is in the USA visiting relatives) so I'm stuck with what I've got. I'd really like to "re-menu". I'm quite happy to sit with Nero putting in new chapter marks where i think they should go and use Nero's menu tools - I think Nero allows you to discard existing chapter marks. My real problem is before this stage. How do I get rid of the existing menu and what software do i need? I certainly intend to work on a copy of the files to cater fore my inabilities!
This is my first "series" project and all help would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Was a joke. You need to re-author every clip and associate it with a new menu using good authoring application. (DVDLab Pro for example, or if you prefer something free - GFD or DVDAuthorGui)
