all of a sudden my dvd burner stops working, i don't understand. The computer is still seeing it therefore drivers are still good, its getting the power because it opens so i don't understand why its not working. The last time i used it was to burn an audio cd for someone which was last sunday. Now when i pop in cds and dvds its telling me that nothing is there.

What program/s r u using to burn your CDs/DVDs? WHat model & how old is your DVD burner? What type (internal/IDE or external/USB)? Is it reading nothing at all or only non-CD-R/DVD-R media?
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".
