  1. All of my malware removal tools (Adaware, Spybot, and AVG antivirus) have failed to cure H91746.ex

I have heard of using Hijack This to create a log and then posting it for experts to look at.

Any recommendations of where to do this?

Or any advice on this particular nasty program?

These guys have helped with a few serious problems - you're in good hands there.

    Hope it gets sorted OK.

  5. Trying Kaspersky right now. It's sure finding a lot. If it doesn't work though I'll go the HiJack route. Thanks for all the great info everyone.

oh and by the way . stay off of porn sites
Then why would I even have a computer?

Besides this is a friends (really). I view as much porn as the next guy but don't have this problem. I think it has to do with how naive you are about falling into the traps that some sites (porn and others) set up. "Click here for a FREE SCAN!" etc etc.

  6. I forgot to tell you to turn system restore off and update the AV before you scan

I did try kaspersky once on a 2 year old pc with no AV or firewall
(The dude didn't know what AV and firewall means)
    AVG no luck
    Avast no luck
    panada no luck
all of them don't work or couldn't remove virus/trojen/spyware on the infected PC
and finally I used Kaspersky it nuked everything clean sweep

  7. It seems to have worked by my friend was really anxious to get his computer back so I didn't get to really test it much.

For the short test I did (going on the internet and browseing for a while) all of the symptoms were gone.

    Thanks Again
