    You would think they would at least attempt to put a positive spin on this article.

    I don't know about anyone else, but I'm too sure I like those odds. Example: I'm flying to Seattle in about 2 weeks. If the airline were to give me 1 in 100 odds of not making it to Seattle in one piece, I would probably have decline my well-planned vacation or persue some other mode of travel (trains anyone?).

    If the odds are so great that they may die, why go? Stay home. The sad thing is, if they do not make it, we going to have to put up with the 6 months of news reports talking about who was at fault and what the problem was.

    Just another note:

    Anyone notice that whenever there is an article that relates to another news story (even one as large as the Columbia disaster) they seem to have to remind you of all the details of the Columbia disaster in that article. Like you could forget?
