    How can I play the subtitles with WMP?
    I have the movie and the .idx and .sub files in the same directory and WMP is set to lad them when available.
    But when I play the movie no subtitle is loaded up.

    PS: both the movie and the .sub files have the same name

    Try VLC Media Player instead. It will play most anything, including subtitles. It is also freeware. I gave up on WMP a long time ago. I remove it from my computers now.
