A friend recoreded some TV shows to the HD of a lite-on standalone. Edited the comercials out, burned them to a TDK DVD-r disk without finalizing. He would add more shows as time went by and then finalize them. He does this all the time. Well on this one he stuck the disk in a Sony standalone recorder, before he finalized the disk. The sony started to inithalize the disk, he stopped it before it finished (power button, unplugged it)? When you put the disk in a player, or a copmuter drive, it shows a one botton stand alone menu, with a 6 second clip. The clip is a screen with a window "current completeness" and it progresses from 2% to 3%. With 3 thumbnails in the background. The files on the disk are
    VIDEO_TS.BUP 160 KB,
    VIDEO_TS.IFO 160 KB
    VIDEO_TS.VOB 38 KB
    VTS_01_0.BUP 38 KB
    VTS_01_0.IFO 38 KB
    VTS_01_1.VOB 3092 KB

You can see the disk is burned the whole way. So does anybody know a software that will copy the unfinalized files to my computer, so that I can burn them properly? I was picturing something like, file recovery software used to recover files you delete from your harddrive.
    Thanks Mike

    Thanks Mike
