I was surfing the net looking for movie news in general. I haven't been able to find much on JP4.

Is there any firm news out there? I've seen places that say Sam Neil and Jeff Goldblum would be willing to be in the movie. Supposedly Speilberg won't direct becuase he'll be doing INDY 4.

Anyway, anyone else found solid news?
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

JP3 was a lot more fun than 1 and 2 because he didn't direct.

Well one was fun because it was first. But 2 was too long and preachy. 3 definetely got back to what made JP fun.

The T-Rex still holds up as one of the great special effects of all time, and is even better when there are two of them in JP2. But aside from that brief scene, JP1 didn't do much for me.

If you like the T-Rex, check out the 15 or so minutes of King Kong when Kong is fighting 3 T-Rex's. Kong the movie isnt all that great, but special effects wise is pretty breathtaking.

Seen it. It is very good, but the beauty of the JP T-Rex is that is done at night, in the wet, and seamlessly blends a 5 ton hydraulic mega-puppet and a CG version to create a total illusion.

Kong works in a completely CG environment - an impressive achievement in itself, but somehow isn't quite as realistic.

The T-Rex CG was good for its day but it was still as realistic as 1933's King Kong. It was not seemless. One can easily tell the scenes that used the puppet from the CG ones.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

    Thanks viral.

Well at least its a go. Though I hope they change the working title of THE EXTINCTION Sounds pretty weak. Besides Jp3 didn't even have a subtitle.
