I have a winpvr 250.
I know I can raise the bitrate to 18000 cbr. But the highest resolution I can record at is 720 x 480... and this is preset.
So I got to thinking...
even without a HD card - why can I not just raise the bitrate and resolution to HD levels? Then take the mpeg2 file and convert it into HD compliance.
I see no way to change the resolution to anything higher.
I know I'm limited by the source material (junk in and junk out) but aside from that I would be tempted to get HD sources if tweaking this card was possible.
