  1. My TV is 4:3 PAL .. So is my DVD Player.
    My AVI has DAR : 2.529 (43:17)
Which app do I use to change it to 4:3? I've tried MPEG4Modifier.. Couldn't change it.
I think the AVI is in 16:9 (NTSC) isn't it??

Does your player play Divx/Xvid files ? If so, it should take care of it for you. Set the DAR to either 1:1 or 16:9 and let the player letterbox it correctly.

If you want to convert it to DVD, use DivxtoDVD (or better yet, ConvertXtoDVD) to do the conversion for you.
