O.k. I am new with VCD..and I am still learning. But I plan to learn SVCD also.

My DVD player has an "S Video Out" jack. It looks like a computer jack. Do I need a tv that has an some kind of "S Video In" jack? Or is it possible to hook it up through the video in jack?
