Matrox tech support has been unable to solve these two issues so i am turning to the experts. 1.If I open a premeire project using the matrox rtx.100 settings i am unable to import clips longer then 9 minutes (2gb's). If I open the same clip in a non matrox project the full 24 minutes is availiable for editing. all my drives are ntfs. anybody ever encounter this?
2.With the matrox wysiwyg enabled if i play any video file from a windows folder it plays choppy. like its dropping frams. If I disable the wusiwyg the same clip plays smooth, Now in the premiere timeline the clips play smooth.
Now obviously I have invested some money into this editing system so please no Premeire sux responses.
here is a link to thread with the matrox folks.

    Are ALL your drives NTFS?
If a temp drive is FAT32, could be issues there.

No they are all NTFS. Its weird. If I open a preoject that is non-matrox long clips are fine. What irratates me is that these cards are not cheap it seams like they would be engenered better.

I don't think the card is the problem. This sounds entirely like a drive or OS issue.

You dont think its a conflict with my video card? I have a 128mb asus PCI-E card. I thought about buying some moster graphics card but I would hate to if its not the issue. The only other thing I can think is that I have 3 drives in my system. Two 250 gb and 1 200gb. Now 2 are true sata drives will the tird is an IDE that I had to buy an adapter so I could plug it into a sata port. Do you think this would cause any issues?
