This is the second part of my questions. The first was how to edit my dvd vob files. I have now edited and put the clips int eh right order. Saved them as vob files on the disc.
Now to the second question which is how to make really good looking menys. I know that nero, pinnacle and other burning or editting program all have some kind of meny making built in. What I am looking for - if possible of course - is to make a little more good looking menys, like the ones on "real" dvd movies. Let me give an example.

At start there will be a short clip with sound (this part has been edited before and are in vob format) before the main meny comes.
Then the main meny starts with perhaps a moving bakgound with sound and you can chooese between let say, play all, special features scene selection and bonus.
For clicking on every each one there will open an new sceneario as described above first with a short clip and then the actual meny starts, that is scene selection, bonus or sepcial features. Play all means of course play all.
For every undermeny there will be different clips.

I hope that was clearly enough. As you'll already understand, the eddited movie that I have altogether with this meny then have to be burnt on some program, so the meny systems have to be saved on a format acceptable of most burning programs, like nero, or you can perhaps burn directly with the program used.

Is there any meny making program out there that can handle all the above written?

Take a look at DVD-Lab Pro. Here's a few tutorials for making advanced menus using different programs, including DVD-Lab:

DVD label pro, does really look like a professional tool, this will take me weeks before I get it, but one simple question, I want to just put in turkish letter in the menu, that is for example an s with a line on bottom curve of the s, I just copy thoose letters from microsoft word, but when I paste it in the text edit window on dvd-lab I only get question marks"?", is there a way to widening the languege fonts?

If I try to use a filter for the video, that is change the brightness color and so on, with the program mpeg video wizard I get som e problems. After exporting the mpg converted file, (I choose automatic) to dvd pro lab and putting on som menus and so on, after burning the movie is full of notches (cuts), and it doesn't move smoothly. I don't have this problem if I don't add filter in mpg video wizard. Anyone that uses that program who knows what to do?

I'm not an expert with either program. Since this mainly concerns DVD authoring, I'll move this to the Authoring forum and you may get better answers there.

If the problem is only with filtered material then it would imply that the problem is either with the video that mpeg video wizard is producing, or something else you are doing with it. Do you get an mpeg file, elementary streams, or vobs from mpeg video wizard ?

If you don't get elementary streams (seperate video and audio) do you demux them either before or during the loading into DLP ?

  8. Changing the appearance of the frames require re-encoding. So MVW re-encodes your video when you add filter. Without the filter it simply copies the video data.
