    Any one knows the manufacturer webiste for REDSTAR DVD Players ? I am searching for it because I want to find out if I can have a firmware upgrade for my player so that it plays DIVX movies and possibly MP3 copied on a DVD.

    A firmware upgrade will NOT enable a player to support DIVX. It is a hardware chipset issue. If it doesn't already have support for DIVX then you are out of luck.

    Does any one know the manufacturer website atleast ? I can check if there are any firmware upgrades. Forget DIVX or anything. But may be there are some firmware updates which can make it more useful ......
