  1. Hello All

I'm looking for DVD cover software that will let me put text on the front, rear and spine of a dvd case.

The Text should be able to be rotated in all four directions.

The spine should be either configurable for width or have templates for single, dual, triple or quad width cases as well as thin and triple thin cases.

I found one that sort of fits the bill but adding text is clunky and the editor for text has no preview.
It is called DVD and Cover print by North cardinal Software. It will autosize images to fit the front rear or spine however I didn't find that to be the case for text.

    Any suggestions?

    Many Thanks

I gave up and switched to a desktop publishing program. All of the DVD cover programs I tried were too restrictive.

Try the free version of PagePlus SE from Serif Software. There are DVD templates available in their free label design pack.

It's a much better solution (and it's FREE).

  3. Thanks for the info, I'll take a look at it right away. Hopefully it isn't to complex for me to learn.

  4. OK Looked at and it is simple if I stay with the premade templates, Now i need to look and see how hard to create own layout.

  5. Illustrator does all you need. I would imaging that Inkscape could do it as well. Probably Photoshop and the Gimp as well. I don't know what kind of text-handling power the Gimp has though.
