What is Nero looking for with SVCD standards ? I have a AIW and capture at 480x480, VBR at 2.4. I tried the 0 and 1 bit with MMC reg tool, but it still did no good. Is there some way without recoding in AIW to get it standard ???
TIA..

Pet peeve: Why in heaven's name are you burning SVCD's with NERO?

SVCD seems like they have a lot better quality then VCD, and Nero is the only CD software I have currently.

2dogs2 - Nero is fine for your mpeg burns.
The AIW does not capture compliant SVCD. That is why Nero complains. You have a couple options. You can turn off compliancy in Nero and see if the burn works in your player or you can demux/mux the file to a compliant SVCD mpeg. This demux/mux process is quick and does not involve encoding. -
Next,
Seems like everytime I demux/mux it throws the audio sync off thus making me spend even more time encoding. Currently I just shut off the compliancy and am very happy with the results in my apex.
