  1. Hi, I was helping out the videos portion for a friend who runs a website introducing Singapore to the world. The site name is http://www.singaporesights.com/
we had just finished coverage for Singapore Fashion Festival 2006. It was my 1st time shooting video catwalk and the editing portion was a real challenge. Please take a look and I welcome any feedback and advise so that it can be better the next time round. Thanks.

There are a couple shows featuring desinger like Jean Paul Gaultier, Missoni, Triumph etc etc.

The video editing & presentation was really good, it's too bad you couldn't get direct audio.

  3. Thank you for your compilment. yes, there was quite a bit of background noise. Maybe next time, I can get from the DJ an original copy of the audio.

I would apply a low-pass filter (Goldwave NR works well) to kill some of the noise, and then I'd use a custom-made filter in SoundForge to kill that awful screech when it hits into high trebles.

Camera work is nice (good and steady, well lit, white balance pretty decent), and then video compression was good too.

So your audio can be fixed. Listen to this version:

Probably could be tweaked a little better still (retain more highs), but it moved the ambient noise to the background, got it out of the foreground, and it capped off those peaks that screeched.
