I would like to try the DVD-RB. I downloaded the DVD-RB v097 Freeware at http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=14
Is the right one for the downloading? After downloading I do not know how to use it for backup a DVD movie into a DVD+/-R disc. Does the DVD-RB have the user guidance available?

I see the guide “All other needed programs are included in DVD-RB Pro's installer except ProCoder and CCE encoder.
You can get DVD-RB Pro after you've donated 10$ to the author of DVD-RB. You'll receive your copy of Pro version via email. With the same email you'll get the key-file (REBUILDER.RBK) which is required to run DVD-RB Pro. Donations can be made via PayPal.”
Does it mean the DVD-RB v097 Freeware is NOT truly free but needs to buy the workable version? If so, what is the difference between the DVD-RB v097 Freeware and Pro version? Confused by the different wording. -
www.dvdrebuilder.com has its own forum and will answer all your questions probably very well if you go over there and read around a little bit. You do not need to donate to get the freeware to work. the freeware encoder HC Encoder works well for me,so much so that i no longer use CCE but instead just use the HC Encoder.
