    I have burned a mpg as vcd in nero 5.5.5.6 and when i play it on my pioneer dv-525 it plays a few seconds then stops but it works fine on my computer. I have also tried on another pioneer dvd player (dv-535) but it's the same thing. I have never had this problem with vcds or svcds.

    You really need to give more information for people to help you. From what you have told us, there could be 101 things that could have gone wrong.
