Must Have's for Vegas Users

Are there any must have filters/effects that all Vegas users should be using?

Sony had an offer for a royalty free loops CD earlier this year. I don't know if the offer is still valid but you may want to visit their website. Some of those loops have come in handy for me and they are free for you to use. As to essential effects or filters it really depends on the project. For example I've found the black/white filter incredible useful for when the video is changing from an outdoor bright splash scenery to an indoor setting such as an interview with the host or for the impression of walking down a long corridor the black/white filter provide that necessary clausterphobic feeling to the video. Of course, that's just one filter or effect you can create using the vegas editing software. There are a ton more and plenty I've never really found a use for yet.
