I've had my Hauppauge capture card working overtime this week, capturing a few of their "Out Of This World Week" shows ... including:

    1) William Shatner Biography
    2) How William Shatner Changed The World
    3) Alien History of Planet Earth
    4) Mexico's Roswell
    5) Alien Engineering
    6) UFOs in the Bible

All are safely tucked away on DVD now, minus commercials (grin). Anyhoo, my favorite of the lot was the 5th program. It was a 2-hour show dealing with how scientists would go about reverse-engineering an alien spacecraft if one was ever acquired. Interesting stuff. There's even some scientist doing plasma research right now that may eventually lead to an invisibility device or a force-field (or both).

On the invisibility device, one part of the show had a photo that made me crack up ... along the lines of the very old joke:

Question - How do you kill a chameleon?
Answer - Put it on a plaid shirt.

Anyhoo, hehe, apparently, flounders are kind-of the chameleons of the sea. Flounders swim near the sea bottom and attempt to mimic the colors of the sea floor. They showed film of flounders doing this. But, they also showed a weird photo. Apparently, one of the pointy-headed scientists decided to see what a flounder would do if put in a tank where the bottom was a checkerboard (grin). This is the result:

I still wish the pointy-headed scientist had used a plaid design on the tank bottom, hehehe.
