Hi Jim,
I have heard it is possible to create two DVD [video] menus. One that shows up on the PC in a software player such as WinDVD and a different menu that displays in set top players.
So menu A will show up on computers [using the ROM zone] and menu B will show up on set top players [using the video zone]. I am very skeptical about this being possible, unless of course you use an application but that isn't a video menu.
Any thoughts on if this is possible?

It could be done using the same method that CDs use - a programed menu created using a CD menu creation program, and an autorun file in the root of the disc. This method is often used to launch small software players (such as the horrible InterActual player Disney uses) or to access some special features available on the PC. It would not replace the standard DVD menu which would still appear if you used PowerDVD or similar.
Look for CD menu creation osftware at somewhere like snapfiles.com or tucows.comRead my blog here.

that sounds like an interesting feature to know 8)
I've obviously seen them on DVD's but never realised it -
Could it be that the DVD was processed using Sonic's eDVD -- to enhance the dvd menu during playback on a computer? They auto-load a dvd player (I think it is Interactual).
