  1. I have just started to encode avi to svcd useing the template on the tmpgenc program and my file sizes are huge..
    I have a avi movie that is 385mb and when Iam done ecodeing it it was 1.05gig's what is the deal with that? Why are they so big??? What am I doing wrong or write... I have a 1.2gig amd with 512mb of 2100 ddr ram... Please Help...

    yeah, uh. the avi's you are encoding are probley divx format which is highly compressed [i beleive, right?].
    anyways, when you encode the .avi into mpg , the file size is always much higher, usually around 2 to 3 times larger than the avi file.

    it happens to everyone, and there is nothing you can do to change it, unless you want to loose quality;P
    how long is a 300+mb divx/avi file anyways? fukin 5 hours or some shit?

    ur probley gonna need 3 cd's=x

    g/l with all that shit.
    u got a nice system, how long did it take to encode that mother fukin file?

  3. It took 4hrs7mins and the file is now 1.2 gigs?? That's a 399mb file..

  4. Oh i love anime. The last anime movie i saw, some robot looking bitch with metal tits had to take her 'clothes' off before every fighting scene. After watching that shit, i promised to myself that i would never watch any movie that had anyone with 10th generation or more japenese in them, that created it.
