Download and BURN?????
Does that mean it will be in a video_ts folder ready to burn????
Or is this divx/xvid with software included to create their own special "custom" dvd setup????
Also would they have some damn new encryption on special burning software to limit you to one burn and then force you to wait for a new hack to make backup copies of it???
Also, for those of us on slow broadband (less than half a megabyte) I don't still see it viable to download tv shows or movies when the quality of commercially released dvds are way higher quality and easier to use.
In theory it would be nice if it was ready to burn but with vcr's and hdtv capture cards the appeal may be limited. Unless of course you missed the episode and don't want to wait for the rerun!Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
The ability to download AND burn would be great
I do not want to be restricted to watching movies either on or through my PC. That's why I have players. My PC is usually too busy doing other things. -

Again, it doesn't say regular movie DVDs that will play in any set-top DVD player. There's just not enough details to say exactly what this is all about.
Maybe the MPAA has just come to its senses and realized that the current DVD encrpytion doesn't work so they might as well make some money off downloads. Doubtful! -
Unless I missed it, I didn't see where anything talked about the quality/resolution of the downoaded material ......
But it only mentions three independent houses that are backing this.
Something tells me the MPAA has yet to find out and still voice their displeasure.Whatever doesn't kill me, merely ticks me off. (Never again a Sony consumer.)
