    Hi,

    Aside from the hype of being scratch-proof, I'd like to know your personal experience of using TDK Armor Plated or Verbatim VideoGard (sic) DVD media.

    Thanks for the link. I'd still like to know, though, if playability is affected in any way. After all, they're using different materials for the transparent layers, which might have different reflectivity than the standard ones. I heard that "scatch-proof" Memorex CDs (the ones with the black recordable surface) were a disaster, compatibility-wise.
