I have a short video on dvd that has a plane taking off,I want to replace the sound that the engines make with another one..and write a new dvd..can I do that with Adobe Auditions? or do I need another program>?thank you for any help

Basic steps
1. Demux the audio from the video clip you wish to change. You might also have to convert it to a form you can work with - uncompressed wav is best for this
2. Edit video clip in Audition - ensure that the length doesn't change
3. Encode the clip back to preferably the same format as it was before
4. Mux the audio back into the dvd
For demuxing.muxing I would look at IFOEdit. Go to the IFOEdit page in the tools section and you will also find links to changing/adding audio tracks to existing dvds.Read my blog here.
