    I have recorded on my Mac (Tiger) using iRecord .2.7c. The recording records a ts or mpeg 2 transport stream fine. I am able to play it with VLC and even convert it to mpeg 4 and make a DVD.

    However, when I try to use ffmpegx to convert the file to dv I get a resulting 0k file. Also under the source there is audio listed for the ts file but where it says video it says, 'no video'.

    How can I create a converted file of normal size and why does it say 'no video' in ffmpegx for the ts stream? Will there be no video on ouput?

    Just as an aside, I am not able to view the file with Quicktime 7 with the mpeg 2 codec nor mpeg streamclip. However, there is audio.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    The convert process information window says,

    Encoding started on Sun Feb 19 03:45:36 CST 2006
    Mac OSX static build for ffmpegX
    Input #0, mpegts, from '/Volumes/Audio/Users/jroach/Movies/Hero Test.ts':
    Duration: 00:00:12.5, start: 85870.793711, bitrate: 2240 kb/s
    Stream #0.0[0x191](eng): Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, stereo, 128 kb/s
    Number of stream maps must match number of output streams

    The info window for the file I'm trying to convert says

    Video: MPEG2 528x480 (aspect 2)
    29.970 fps 1924.8 kbps (240.6 kbyte/s)
    audiocodec: framecopy (format = 2000
    chans=2 rate=48000 bits=16 B/s=16000
    sample-1)
