howdy guys... ive gotten quite good at making and authoring my own single layer dvds with tmpgenc dvd author... my question is... what program do i need in order to author my own dual layer dvds... do i simply just use tmpgenc and author up to 8.5gb and ignore the warning(s) or do i need a program specifically for dual layer authoring... any help and/or guidance/pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated... thanks bunches...

What version of TDA do you have ?

Because i know 1.6 and beyond have the gauge at the bottom showing both single and double layer sizes.

And so does DVD-lab PRO, which is what i use.

But i would think you could still use TDA if it's an older one and just ignore the warnings, it is just telling you that it wont fit on a single layer but will still author it, you just have to burn it to a double layer disc
