    I have dvd shrink wich I have had no problems copying movies up to the point were I tried to copy the cave abnd zathura wich are sony home entertainment pictures.
    is there any way to get around this and programs im missing that would copy these movies.

    Sony=ArCoSS encryption. Use DVDFab Decrypter if you need to backup this type of video.

    Have a search in the forum for the newer copy protection systems used on the Sony discs, and the good apps that will assist to work through the problem. Sony discs get a mention a few times a week as a rule.
    Madagascar is a good one to search for...to start.
