creating an episodic dvd from avi's

hey guys ...
i've been reading up here.. and i've seen the diko program to make episodic dvd .. but i dont like it because i can't make a menu...
i've seen dvd author.. but it seems to be like you have to have mpegs already... my tv episodes are avi's...

can anyone direct me to a link or something that has a program that can do that??? thanks guys

you can convert with diko and then import the authored dvd in tda and add menus.

or convert to mpg with something else like tmpgenc xpress.

Well I beleive u can use CCE with DIKO as well..
Just make sure u mention it in DIKO's config

I highly recommend SVCD2DVD by Chrissyboy. It is the bees knees for ease of use. It accepts avis, mpegs and a few others. You can AC3 audio, you can create a simple menu, etc. Download the demo and give it a try.
