I just got a great movie from a friend. It's in AVI format. He has no problems playing it on WMP, but on my PC there is no sound - neither on PowerDVD nor on WMP. Any suggestions anyone?

.. but, I did a search on my files and found ac3Src.ax. So don't I already have the AC# filter? Maybe its in the wrong place. Or may be I need to do some settings to get the player to pick them up?

As far as he vlc player is concerned, itg doesn't seem to have bookmarking!

Remember how this thread started. I want to combine all my home video DVDs into one big file, and use bookmarking to navigate.
