    Hi there,

    For some reason when I make a DVD with SVCD2DVD half way through the movie it starts to fubar up (the audio starts to skip and there are blotches every now and then on the screen that disappear and reappear randomly) and I am unsure why.

    I'm hoping my log file can tell something as I tried using SVCD2DVD while using my computer and also just letting it do it's own thing with me away from the computer but the issue still remains.

    RGDS & TIA

    Curtis M.

  2. I recommend you try burning slower. It sounds like more like a problem with the disc than with the encoding to me.

    You might also wish to try a different brand of DVDs (cheaper usually is worse).

    I installed the program and made 2 dvd but on 3rd day it just quick working. When I try to add assets it does nothing. It let me open the fileOpen diaglog box, let me choose files but after I click on "open" it goes back to the main GUI and nothing shows up in the asset box. I close and reopen the program and repeat the same action nothing happens. Any idea what happened here ?

    I agree with HeinzHarald, burn slower and try different discs, see if the maker of your burner has a "recommended" DVD list.

    @waycool66

    You really need to start a new thread for this. It makes it easier to keep the issues sorted.

    I figured out what the problem is. I had to set "Regional and Language" -> "Advanced"->"Unicode support" to "English" due to registration of S2D won't work if it is set for a foreign language. But the folder contains the assets has foreign characters in it. After I changed it to all English chars S2D worked fine, which brings up a point I wanted to ask if this is going to fixed it in the future release for Unicode support. I will ask this in a different topic thread.
