  1. Primera today said that it will be shipping a Blu-ray enabled disc publishing system in April of this year. The "Bravo XR-Blu Disc Publisher" integrates Pioneer's BDR-101A Blu-ray Disc/DVD Recorder and can be loaded with up to 50 single- or dual-layer discs at a time.

The device connects via USB 2.0 to a Windows 2000/XP PC and comes with Primera's Bravo XR-Blu recording and mastering software, which is based on AuthorScript Data Backup with BD Support from Sonic Solutions.

The Bravo XR-Blu will first be shown at the Cebit tradeshow, which will open its doors on 9 March. Primera said the device will be shipping in April for $6000.

That's not a bad price considering the capacity and next gen support. I wonder if it will burn todays discs as well. Backwards compatibility is what will determine it's affordability to most organizations.

  3. that sounds like it would be a cool device for making MASSIVE amounts of copies of something....just kinda set it and forget it........the only thing that kills me about that though, is the price of what the blank discs will cost....i suppose though, if your spending 6000 bux on the device itself, another 500 bux in blank discs to fill the thing up wont hurt ya that much....

Another good (on topic)question is are the cables included? Someone purchased a replicator at work once and the thing didn't ship with cables. Cables were an extra $20 or something like that.

    What's another $20.00 - $40.00 (speculating) if you are already spending $6,000.00?

I just want to know if it can steam vegetables and keep them piping hot.

Does it have a non-stick basket for lobster tail or hamburgers?
