What is the BitRate for the 2 and 3 hour mode on the Liteon 1101HC1?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the Bit Rate was for the 2 and 3 hour mode on the LiteOn 1101HC1 DVD Recorder?

The reason is that although the video looks fair in these modes..the bit rates seem to be maybe 2 to 4 mps..I dunno.. just from LOOKING at the video; it just doesn't seem to be utilizing a high bit rate.

The video in these 2 and 3 hour modes looks rather "soft", in my opinion (The 4 hour mode looks almost the same as the 3 hour mode- the 6 hour mode looks like crap though..that mode records in Mpeg-1 format).

Anyone know what the bit rates are for the 2 and 3 hour modes on the Liteon 1101HC1 DVD Recorder?

I don't know if this will help you at all....

I have ATI DVD VIdeo player on my PC and I can turn on a setting that enables me to view the bitrate while viewing the movie. Perhaps other PC DVD players have this feature too?
